Help!

We have no heating nor hot water! The boiler has gone on strike (with no obvious reason).
Until the engineer's visit (tomorrow PM thank god), I have to endure this tomb like temperature with a single electric heater (T.T)
Mr.B, by the way, he is enjoying the predicament. The electric heater is his chum. He is addicted to it...
